Zenith’s 2009 Open Grande ChronoMaster
Zenith introduces an affordable chronograph with (literally) cosmic Grande styling. This Zenith cracks the lid on open face styling with peekaboo visible movement and date numerals in the two o’clock position. 42 rubies weight and power the Chronograph to keep its moon phase and sun phase reflecting the cosmos properly. Roman numerals.
The face of the Zenith is literally complicated. Three tangential inner circular workings are cut out from the dial from eight o’clock to 12 o’clock position, and one angled wedge of cutout from one o’clock to four o’clock position create an oscillating mass that invites complex scrutiny. 45 mm sizing comes in rose gold with silver guilloche (repeated lines effects) and stainless steel with silver or black dial option.
Keep in touch with your lunar vibrations by having the orbit window visible and the Zenith Chronomaster Open date Moon and Sunphase on the wrist. 332 components and a startlingly different dial composition will keep observers guessing. Rose gold completes a new take on personal timekeeping and cosmological relativity.
